1. Cliffe Bonfire Society Easter Quiz.

Saturday, April 20, 7.30pm for an 8pm start, Lewes Con Club, 139 High Street, Lewes, 01273 473076. Cliffe Bonfire Society, in association with The Clarion, presents their annual Easter Quiz. This event offers cracking fun for everyone and is very popular, so people are advised to book their teams early. £1 per person for teams of up to six people. 2. From The Jam.

Saturday, April 20, £25, 7pm, Assembly Hall, Worthing, 01903 206206. From The Jam features former Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, as well as vocalist and guitarist Russell Hastings, drummer Mike Randon, and Andy Fairclough on Hammond and piano. This year From the Jam will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of All Mod Cons, playing it in its entirety. Hits will include ‘Down In The Tube Station At Midnight’ and ‘A Bomb In Wardour Street’.

3. The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.

A spokesperson said: “Following the sell-out success of the award-winning The Play That Goes Wrong, Mischief Theatre return with their latest fabulous comedy caper, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery. 4. Sun Ra Arkestra.

A spokesperson said: “Composer, keyboardist, bandleader, philosopher, poet, and self-proclaimed extraterrestrial from Saturn, Sun Ra led his ‘Intergalactic Arkestra’ of 30-plus musicians in a career that ranged from boogie-woogie and swing to be-bop, free jazz, fusion, and New Age music until his death in 1993.” The Sun Ra Arkestra perform under the direction of Marshall Allen. 5. Bert Kreischer – The Body Shots Tour.

Tuesday, April 23, £20, 8pm, Komedia, Brighton, 0845 293 8480. Fresh from his huge Netflix special, Secret Time, American stand-up and podcaster Bert Kreischer tours his new show. A spokesperson said: “Described as having a ‘rare and incredible talent’ by Interrobang, Bert has evolved from being named as Rolling Stone’s ‘Number One Partier in the Nation’ to one of America’s top names in comedy.”

6. Joey Landreth and Band.

Tuesday, April 23, 7.30pm, £15, Lewes Con Club, 139 High Street, Lewes, 01273 473076. Winnipeg’s country and folk star Joey Landreth releases his new album this month. 7. Jazz Cafe Featuring Jacqui Hicks.

Wednesday, April 24. From £9, 8pm, Pavilion Cafe Bar, Worthing, 01903 206206, www.worthingtheatres.co.uk. Jacqui is a hugely popular entertainer and crowd-pleaser with a truly beautiful voice. A spokesperson said: “She is an unparalleled exponent of the rare art of singing jazz ballads with poise, elegance and beauty, as well as having a great feel for her beloved soul and funk.” Jacqui was voted one of the top ten British vocalists in 1990.

8. Jethro – The Count of Cornwall.

April 24, 7.30pm, £20-£21, Chequer Mead, East Grinstead, 01342 302000, www.chequermead.org.uk. Following 60 sold out shows last year, The Count of Cornwall returns with his unique style of comedy. This event offers an evening of hysterical nonsense, taking a peek into the mind of one of the UK’s greatest comic storytellers. A spokesperson said: “Jethro beguiles and befuddles his audience with the endless stream of irreverent twaddle that has created a comedy genius.”

9. Patrick Monahan #Goals!

April 25. 8pm, Connaught Theatre, Worthing. Fringe favourite Patrick performs his new stand up show. A spokesperson said: “We all have life goals. Whether it’s to win the lottery or marry up, make it your goal to come and watch this great comedy show from an Irish Iranian smoggy! Constantly touring, comedy website Ents24 has listed him for the past three years in the top three of the hardest working comedians in the UK.”

10. The Adam Riches Experience.

April 25, £12, 8pm Komedia, 44-47 Gardner Street, Brighton, 0845 293 8480. Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner Adam offers a unique show full of off-the-wall and absurd humour. Nominated for The Times South Bank Show Breakthrough award, three Chortle Awards and also named Time Out Comedy’s Person of the Year, Adam has appeared in Detectorists (BBC4), Top Coppers (BBC3), Drunk History (Comedy Central) and a variety of other great comedy shows.
