Father's Day health checks

The free checks, which include blood pressure and cholesterol tests, are being offered to both participants and spectators as part of men's health week.

West Sussex community health improvement nurse Karen Davies will conduct the tests on Sunday, June 15, between 10am and 4pm at the event at Ferring Recreation Ground in Greystoke Road.

West Sussex County Council cabinet member for adults' services, John de Mierre, said: "This event will find out whether your health is on or off-side, and what you can do to stay fit and healthy."
