FILM: Oscar winner at Angmering

OSCAR-winning film Elizabeth: The Golden Age will be screened at Angmering Village Hall on March 1.

The winner of the best costume design category, the film also attracted another nomination for Cate Blanchett for best actress, but she missed out to Marion Cotillard, in La Vie en Rose.

In this sequel to the box-office smash hit Elizabeth, Blanchett once more stars as the Queen, this time preparing for war against Spain, but also falling in love with Sir Walter Raleigh (Clive Owen).
