INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY: Littlehampton celebration

WOMEN of every age, shape, colour and creed are invited to take part in a celebration on Saturday (March 6).

An event to mark International Women's Day will be held at the Tamarisk Centre, Beach Road, Littlehampton, between 10am and 4pm.

This year's theme is Focus on Africa, and the keynote speaker will be Daphne Kabia, south east region area organiser from Unison.

African song, storytelling, arts and crafts will continue throughout the day. and there will also be the chance to try circle dancing,

Indian chanting, yoga, pilates and party games.

Annabell Alexander of the organising team says "We are proud that we are able to bring together women from many nations and ethnic backgrounds every year for this special day."
