COMEDY, music, a beer festival and workshops are all included in the fun-packed 34th Chiddingly Festival from September 27 to October 7.
Comedy comes from TV, stage and radio performer Hardeep Singh Kohli, with his new show Indian Takeaway, a unique mix of comedy and cooking.
Music is a central theme and this year organisers are proud to present Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin.
This is a rare opportunity to hear these two great folk artists, who are rapidly acquiring cult status, perform together on stage.
The classical concert will be given by Mardi Brass, a versatile and dynamic brass quintet.
They perform musical styles spanning six centuries and thrill audiences with their blend of music and humour.
Jazz this year features Cecilia Stalin, a Swedish artist of international renown.
Claire Martin OBE also returns to give a Jazz Singing Master Class.
The Beer Festival Weekend is a mini festival in itself providing lots more besides excellent ales and ciders.
Live music, a barbeque, workshops on belly dance, drumming and a capella singing, a Mardi Brass children’s workshop and an Art and Craft Exhibition are all included.
Other events are Poetry in the Pub with Little Machine, Circus Berzecus for children and Chiddingly Artists Open Studios.
