THE Sussex Police Choir will be performing at St Michael’s Church, High Street, Lewes, at 7.30pm tomorrow (Saturday).

This popular group of singers will be performing songs from the shows and other more traditional items, augmented with light-hearted readings.

The varied programme ranges from Seventy Six Trombones and the King and I to a Clare Benediction.

All are welcome. Entrance is free and there will be a retiring collection in aid of church funds.

The choir started life in 1970 as a male voice choir for serving and retired police officers and support staff.
