Following on from last year’s hugely successful ‘Back By Demand’ tour, 2014 sees the legendary Chas & Dave back on the road in the wake of their first new studio album in 27 years.
The critically-acclaimed That’s What Happens was recorded in Studio 2, Abbey Road – ‘The Beatles Room’ – with the Grammy-winning bluesman Joe Henry on production duties.
Chas & Dave bring their new songs and the classics to Marlets Hall, Burgess Hill, this Saturday, October 11, at 8pm.
After celebrating fifty years of their friendship in 2013, the duo began this year with a sold-out debut show at the Royal Albert Hall.
They made headline-grabbing festival appearances and they have been recognised by the esteemed Nordoff Robbins Foundation who awarded them the 2014 Silver Clef Icon award at a ceremony that included Pharrell Williams, Paloma Faith, Sir Tom Jones, and Giorgio Moroder.
