Showman returns for 31st season

CHARISMATIC showman and entertainer, John Mann, returns to the Winter Garden for his 31st Summer Season of music concerts.

Audiences can expect an afternoon of music, peppered with jokes and anecdotes told in John’s own inimitable style. The show will feature a mixture of favourite tunes from the 1930s through to the 1960s; including film and musical theatre classics by composers such as Novello, Berlin and Gershwin.

Each performance offers a different programme of music, with plenty of ‘sing-a-longs’. John will be using his ever faithful Eminent Grand Theatre organ and the theatres own Steinway piano.

John Mann is one of the countries finest Organists and Pianists. His talents have taken him all over the world playing in some of the grandest venues from New York to Paris. John is a regular broadcaster since 1969, and regularly contributes to BBC Radio 2’s The Organist Entertains with Nigel Ogden.

With a talent nurtured from a young age, John was certain to achieve great things. His first job as organist for a sports stadium led the way to a successful career as an Entertainment Organist.

Relishing the golden days of summer seaside shows and traditional holiday variety John was at home behind the Piano and the Organ, performing to enthralled audiences. His popularity become even more evident with the creation of the John Mann Appreciation Society back in 1981.

Still in great demand, John continues to provide old style music and entertainment to audiences across the UK and beyond. Melodious tunes superbly interwoven with his friendly banter make The John Mann Music Show unbeatable for old fashioned, classic entertainment.
