North Bersted man's photograph receives global exposure
Bill Smee’s shot of a seal ordering a carry-out for one has received global exposure.
He sent the photo – taken on a holiday to the Galapagos Islands – to The Big Photograph in the Daily Telegraph.

Hide AdIt came third ahead of thousands of rivals and was picked up by a German travel magazine. Its reproduction of the photo, showing the busy market place in Santa Cruz, has been seen around the world.
Bill said: “I was thrilled to come third but even more delighted to be approached by View magazine of Hamburg to use my photo as a double-page spread.”
Bill is the husband of Arun District Council vice-chairman and a Bersted ward councillor Ann Smee.
She said: “Bill always manages to take picture-postcard photos.
“The fish market in Santa Cruz was an amazing place and this photograph captures it perfectly.”
