Sing in an opera that has it all

Dido & Æneas by Henry Purcell is the opera that has everything – a prince, a queen, a sorceress and two witches...and it is sung in English!

The Tichbourne Chorale is staging a performance on Saturday, February 22, at St Wilfrid’s Church, Haywards Heath, with a ‘come and sing’ chorus from scratch. All the proceeds go to St Peter & St James Hospice at Chailey.

The opera will be preceded by Purcell songs sung by the chorale’s director, Janet Gration, tenor Mark Curtis and bass-baritone Steve Hawksley.

If you would like to sing, there is a rehearsal from 4-6 or if you would like to watch, the show begins at 7.30pm. For an application form, tickets or information call Rob on 01444 415339 or e-mail Singers £10. Audience £8.
