ST GEORGE'S DAY: Parade in Worthing town centre

A SEA of red and white will flow through Worthing as patriotic citizens celebrate St George's Day in style.

Dressed as knights, princesses, footballers, and other English heroes, participants plan to parade through the streets with bugles and pianos tomorrow (Friday, April 23), before meeting for a street party in Montague Street at 3pm.

Colin Bickers, one of the organisers, said: "The celebrations will culminate at the Rose and Crown Tavern where outside in Montague Street the area will be decked out with flags and bunting.
