Uckfield’s Pamphilon Theatre’s April touring production, In Praise of Elephants, from Farnham Maltings, is a celebration of the greatest animal on the planet as well as a touching story of a quiet man turning 60 trying to make sense of the world.
This play, full of surprise, music and biscuits, is about dignity and how the world will be a poorer place when some things are gone.
Tickets for touring theatre of the highest quality remain at the good value price of £9 (and only £5 for students).
Inviting touring theatre companies to Uckfield was the initiative of a group of people who wanted to bring productions to the town while also supporting the Parent Teacher Association at Uckfield Community Technology College.
Since 2005 the theatre has presented top quality productions and in 2008 was named the Pamphilon after the retiring Principal who had enthusiastically supported the project.
In Praise of Elephants is on at the Pamphilon on Friday, April 19, at 7.30pm.
