A perfect play for Christmas

Sometimes exactly the right production is offered at just the right time and in the appropriate place.

This is what we have with The Players Collective production of A Christmas Carol on December 20, 21 and 22.

The production is played as a radio play, which is narrated and features local actors including Jack Shepherd, often recognised as Wycliffe, but whose theatre, television, radio and film career is a distinguished one. Audiences will be encouraged to participate by director Lewis Reid.

Thursday and Friday nights will be at Lewes Town Hall and Saturday at Seaford Little Theatre. Each evening starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at Tourist Information Centre in Lewes, Eyecare in Seaford or online at wegotickets.com. Prices are £ 10 or £ 8 concessions for the over 60s, the unemployed or students.

The Players Collective is a group of actors, writers, directors and designers. They have no permanent home base and travel to locations in order to meet and entertain as many diverse audiences as possible.
