That’ll Be The Day, Congress Theatre, Eastbourne, Sunday, April 1, 7.30pm.
THE BEST Rock ‘n’ Roll show on the road returns to Eastbourne on April 1 – and you’d be a fool to miss it!
2012 marks the shows 26th anniversary, but audiences don’t need to worry – the gang still haven’t grown up! This promises to be their biggest rock ‘n’ roll party yet.
Building on the success of the last 26 years, Trevor, Gary and the gang return with the show’s greatest hits, featuring their famed feel-good comedy routines (can you imagine the fun they are going to have as it’s April fools day!) and favourite songs from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
That’ll Be The Day guarantees to get you on your feet and dancing before the night is over so make sure you don’t miss out on the biggest party in town.
This new show will really get you in the party mood, in this fun, fast, fabulous two hour production taking you on a memory jerking journey through the history of pop music. From skiffle bands and Juke Box Jury of the 50s and 60s, through to the Beatles and swinging London via the Summer of Love and the spangle-studded Glam-rock era of the 70’s, this show promises a brilliant night out.
The show was conceived by Worthing born Trevor Payne who grew up listening to, and loving, rock and roll. He decided to create a showcase of his favourite artists’ work as an experiment and all these years later the show is still going strong!
