A Chorus of Disapproval
A Chorus of Disapproval

Meeching Amateur Dramatics (MAD) are back, not with a pantomime this time, but a very funny Alan Ayckbourn play A Chorus of Disapproval.

Comedy lovers are invited to laugh at the volatile antics of a Welsh amateur light operatic society when they attempt to put on The Beggar’s Opera.

The production is at Meeching Hall, Fort Road, Newhaven, and runs over two weekends – January 16, 17 and January 22, 23, 24 at 7.45pm. MAD are offering Sunday matinees for the first time on January 18 and 25 at 2.30pm.

In the photo, the cast take a rest from rehearsals away from the hot and cold rantings of their director Dafydd Llewellyn (Garry Fowler).

Tickets cost £8 and are available at Meeching Estate Agents, High Street, Newhaven.
