The world’s speediest ego-on-paws, The Hare, and his slow, steady, fell-walking counterpart, The Tortoise, are racing to Brighton Dome this summer (Sunday, July 14, 2pm and 4.30pm).

The Hare & The Tortoise is the brand new family friendly puppet show from Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company; the team who bought sell-out show The Enormous Turnip to Brighton Dome Corn Exchange in Spring.

Spokesman Chris Challis said: “It’s the race of the decade! Slow, steady tortoise versus speedy, greedy hare. They’re fit, they’re keen, they’re completely mismatched! Surely it’s all over before it’s begun? Join the famous commentator Chris Canary for the biggest sporting event in the entire animal kingdom’s diary: why is that un-hurried herbivore so sure that she can beat nature’s hasty, high-speed hare? Who will win and who will you cheer for?”

Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company are a rapidly expanding Dorset-based theatre company founded by Marc Parrett.
