Multi-talented Glen Richardson will be leading a line-up of comedians at The Laughter Lounge in Uckfield on Wednesday, December 5.

The comic, who is also a singer and pianist, has been described by The Times as “insanely talented” and will be performing with George Egg and Dan Evans.

Glen has performed with Boothby Graffoe, Gerry Sadowicz and Radio 2’s Barry from Watford. His last Edinburgh show with Paul Putner was described by Chortle as “like early Vic and Bob if they’d known what they were doing”.

George Egg has been hailed as a ‘Tommy Cooper for the twenty first century’ and The Guardian said you would see why through tears of laughter.

A Guardian review said: “George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see.”

Dan Evans has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland, Holland, Germany and Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Thailand and Hanoi, Vietnam.

He has appeared on BBC 2’s Brain Candy, Channel 5 at The Store and the Channel 4 Comedy Zone, Radio 2’s Stand Up Show and 28 acts in 28 minutes on Radio 4.

Wednesday’s Laughter Lounge show will be at The Picture House, Uckfield. The doors and on-stage bar open at 6pm and the show begins at 7.30pm.
