Latest stand-up comedy

More great stand-up comedy is the promise when Barnstormers play The Hawth, Crawley on Friday, November 4 at 8.15pm (tickets 01293 553636).

This month compere Kevin Precious introduces Stuart Goldsmith, Danny Ward and Noel James.

Spokesman Stephen Newberry said: “Stuart Goldsmith’s infectious style channels the effortless charisma and quick-fire timing honed over a youth misspent as a street performer. He is equally sought-after as an act and an MC, performing for Avalon, Off The Kerb, The Glee Club, The Banana Cabaret, Up The Creek and Bound & Gagged.

“Stuart has performed stand-up in the French Alps and Austria and supported Mark Watson on nearly all of his 2007 tour.

“Danny Ward’s observational humour is up-beat and well honed, and his easy-going style both endearing and very funny. One of the new breed of comics with a high energy set not reliant on smut or swearing, Danny started comedy in late 2008 and has since established himself as an up-and-coming comic to watch.”
