Seaford Little Theatre’s next production will be Steel Magnolias (July 22-30).
A theatre spokesperson said: “Truvy’s in-home beauty parlour in Chinquapin, Louisiana, is where all the women regularly gather to gossip and put the world to rights, especially when there is an occasion to celebrate or a conflict to resolve.
“These women are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel.”
“This semi-autobiographical comedy-drama (written by Robert Harling) had hugely successful runs on Broadway and the West End and was made into a film starring Dolly Parton and Sally Field.”
The show is directed by Garry Fowler.
Evening performances begin at 7.45pm with a July 23 matinee at 2.30pm.
All seats £8 (matinee £7). The box office is at Redgold Opticians, 32 Broad Street, Seaford (no credit cards). To find out more call 07984 280067 or visit www.seafordlittletheatre.co.uk.
This is a joint production with Meeching Amateur Dramatics.
Seaford Little Theatre is at 4 Steyne Road, Seaford.
