The aim of Summer of Fun 2022 is to involve the local community in the garden, behind the old police station, now Lancing Fabric, at 107 North Road.

On Wednesday, August 24, from 10am to 1pm, Men in Sheds Lancing and Sompting will be helping people make bird boxes.

On Friday, August 26, you can meet the Gruffalo and his friends from 10am to midday. Volunteers have created a Gruffalo Trail for the garden, which will appeal to children of all ages.

Andy said: "Come along to take a walk and why not bring along a picnic to enjoy, too. There is plenty of seating.

"There are no charges for these events, donations to support the garden are welcomed. We will have a gazebo available if the weather is hot again."
