Kids’ Craft Club Slime Making

Cost: Free, booking required

Learn how to make textured slime at Hobbycraft throughout half term. Children can choose from a range of colours and textures at the free 30 minute sessions. Booking in advance is required and children must bring their own tubs so they can take their slime home with them. Suitable for children 4-years-old and over, supervision required for under-16s.

Sew Fabulous holiday club

Sew Fabulous, Studio 10, Brighton Open Market

February 17 to 21

Cost: Free for low income families, paid spaces also available. Booking required.

A holiday club teaching children how to sew. There are morning groups for children aged 7 and over and afternoon sessions for children aged 11 and over. Activities include: sewing and textiles, designing and making mood boards, and trips to local exhibitions for creative inspiration.

Kids’ Beach Volleyball Sessions

Cost: £6.75 per child, booking required.

Beginner volleyball sessions on the beach for 5-7-year-olds (10am) and children 8 years and older (11am). The hour-long sessions include a warm up, skills, drills, and games.

An introduction to coding for girls aged 9 and older. The two hour beginner session will introduce visitors to the Python coding language and prepare them for the future.

World of food: cooking for seven to 12 and 13 to 16-year-olds

Cost: £29.99 per child with a discount for siblings

Four sessions teaching children about global cuisine, from Thai to French. Practical and fun workshops with an experienced cookery teacher which will teach the little ones how to cook. Children can learn about safe knife skills, safe baking, and safe boiling and frying. Suitable for vegetarians, some courses can be adapted for vegans and gluten free diets (ask when booking).

Bubble Brain Workshop
