Sunday 7th July - RNLI Newhaven - Seaford Beach 11am. See the Lifeboat and Coastguard Helicopter in action (subject to operational requirements, of course). A must see training event with commentary from the beach. An ideal opportunity to see the lifeboat and volunteer crew up close in open water. Donations on the day welcomed to ensure that the volunteer lifeboat crew have the training and equipment required to enable them to continue their lifesaving duties at sea, in rivers and on beaches. Be brave - Support your local Lifeboat.

Tuesday 9th July - Tales on a Tuesday - A great opportunity to be entertained by The GuestHouse Storytellers who present ‘Snow White, Blood Red - Fairytales for Adults’ in aid of RNLI Newhaven. Professional storyteller Jamie Crawford opens the evening and tickets are available from the Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven BN9 9EA or by contacting Ronda Armitage on 01825 873477 email: rondaarmitage@hotmail.co.uk The evening begins with an optional Italian supper for £4 at 7pm with the storytelling for £5 from 7.30pm.
