As those Motörhead lyrics blasted out of the Brighton Centre's sound system, fans got to see The Game himself, Triple H, round off a great WWE show on the company's UK tour. The 48-year-old wrestling icon may spend significantly more time working behind the scenes than in the ring these days but, when illness struck the WWE Raw locker room, the Cerebral Assassin didn't hestitate to dust his boots off and put on a show for the fans. The Shield, a hugely popular three man unit consisting of tag team champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose alongside Roman Reigns, were scheduled to headline the UK tour but, when Reigns was ruled out, HHH filled in. The trio faced Bray Wyatt and the tag team of The Bar which includes Sheamus, a distinctive mohawked monster from Dublin. The Irishman was not the only UK native to feature on the show. His compatriot Finn Balor opened the show in a hard-hitting match with Samoa Joe while a tag team match showcased the UK division and saw Mark Andrews and Dan Moloney beat Joseph Conners and Tyson T-Bone. The four may not as recognisable names to fans that only follow the WWE - most have only appeared on the WWE Network's UK Championship Tournament from January - but the crowd warmed to them as the match wore on. Welsh high-flyer Andrews, in particular, never fails to impress wherever he wrestles. The crowd took a little bit of time to get the atmosphere going but a musical interlude got them fired up. Elias, the superstar with a guitar, treated the crowd to a rendition of Oasis' classic Wonderwall, before adding a second verse telling the audience exactly how much disdain he had for them and the city. Few superstars can generate such a vociferous response in such a short space of time; he could go far. Aside from the main event the crowd seemed particularly excited to see veterans Kane and Matt Hardy as well as women's division stars Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley had been meeting fans earlier in the day at Toys R Us in Hove and the star seems to prove popular with people of all ages. With nine matches across three hours and a number of the biggest names in sports entertainment on show, there was more than enough to send everyone home happy.
