A Lewes restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Lanes, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 6 Place Lane, Seaford, East Sussex was given the score after assessment on June 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Lewes's 369 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 307 (83%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
