BALI (Bexhill Against Landfill and Incineration)

BALI is still fighting on your behalf to stop the possibility of the Ashdown pits in Turkey Road becoming the next landfill site for the South East.

We are appalled to hear that we are being forced to accept London waste and we have been lined up for 26.2 million tonnes of waste in the next 20 years.

It is bad enough dealing with our own rubbish let alone being dumped upon by London or Brighton or other South East towns. This is why we must continue to raise sufficient funds to fight any planning applications for landfill at the Ashdown brickworks.

We are holding a spring fair to raise funds for BALI on Saturday, February 9 from 9.30am to 12 noon at St Martha's Church Hall in Little Common and hope you will come to this event.
