Jake Davis, 23, has cerebral palsy and suffers with painful leg cramps and stiff joints. His pain is relieved with twice daily physio sessions, which in themselves are painful and stressful. Jake’s mum Becky says a hydrotherapy pool would offer pain free physio and improve the quality of his life and she has started a campaign to raise the £26,000 needed to convert the family garage.

The Elvis Spectacular is the latest event being held to raise the money Jake needs and is presented by Peter Philips, organiser of the worlds renowned Porthcawl Elvis Festival, which drew over 30,000 visitors last year.

The tribute artists dusting off their blue suede shoes include Mike Nova. Mike is touring the country with his ‘Elvis Let’s Pretend’ show - a performance of which Elvis Presley’s Tour Manager, Mike Stone said: “It simply does not get any better than this.” Other artists are Dean Mack, European Elvis Championship finalist, Juan Lozano, finalist on the BBC’s, ‘World’s Best Elvis’ show, and Gordon Davis, ‘Images of the King’ World Champion in Elvis’s home town of Memphis, Tennessee.

The tribute acts will perform three showcases: Elvis Gospel, Elvis At The Movies and Elvis Vegas with a special guest performance from Chris Tierney, Porthcawl Best Festival Elvis Winner.
