Dancing feet kickstart school’s half term in style

Aspiring musical theatre stars of the Burgess Hill based dance school VBDance will have dancing fever this half term as they take part in a very special workshop organised by some of the stars of London’s West End.

The students will take part in exciting workshops with company West End touring on Tuesday, October 29, learning dances from current West End shows, which will include excerpts from both Matilda and Top Hat.

The older pupils will then have further lessons, with the teachers at VBDance, on Charlie and the Chocolate factory, while the younger children have fun making props and costumes based on the show.

These will be both showcased as part of their main Production at the Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead, on March 1, 2014.

Principal Victoria Bremner said: “This is a wonderful, unique opportunity for the children to be inspired by some of the stars currently on the West End stage, and to learn more about life as a professional performer”.
