Date set for Fab Four fun day

Hundreds of performers will take to the White Rock Theatre stage as more than 60 acts play their favourite Beatles songs.

Each group will play three classic tunes and together serve up more than 10 hours of music across both the venue’s stages.

And, as always, it won’t just be mersey beat - previous offerings have been in acapella, folk, rock, blues, soul, funk, classical, Latin, dance and even heavy metal style.

All of the musicians, organisers and helpers donate their time completely free and all the money raised goes to Macmillan Cancer Support to help people in Sussex living with cancer.

To date, Beatles Day has raised more than £100,000.

It will start at 11.30am and tickets , priced £10 for adults and £5 for under 14s are available now.
