Enjoy Italian cuisine at Horsham’s Piazza italia

With different stalls, competitions, tours and markets Horsham will be transformed into the peak of Italian dining over this Easter Weekend.

Every day this Piazza Italia will have the popular ‘Italia in Piazza’ food market in the Carfax.

Italia in Piazza specialises in bringing real Italian food, made in Italy and served to by real Italians.

They are returning for their ninth year, but they are not being complacent, with 18 stalls with delights such as Prosecco & Fine Wines, Speciality Breads, Gastronomia, Torrone & Cioccolata, Extra Virgin Olive Oils & Balsamic Vinegars, Biscotti e Dolci, Olives and Salumeria.

This year there will also be stalls with dedicated gluten free products.

Italian wines are known for their variety and at Piazza Italia it’s no different. This year the exciting Wine Tour Contrada del Vino Italiano is back and running for even longer, starting on Saturday (March 28) to Sunday (April 12), giving you the chance to visit bars and restaurants around town and sample some great Italian wine and also giving you the chance to win some great food prizes.

Every day over Piazza Italia there will be a wine bar with Horsham Enoteca and Piazza Italia’s very own beer brewed by Hepworth & Co served from their beer tent. Around town will also be stalls selling pizzas, coffee, ice cream, Italian hot dogs and much more.

On Easter Monday Thortons are holding an Easter Egg Iceathon. Bring the children along and decorate chocolate eggs in Swan Walk. Or you can pop down to the Bishopric and visit the motorbikes who will be among a variety of food stalls for you to enjoy while taking in the sights of some of the world’s fastest bikes.

Easter Saturday will also have both Horsham’s award-winning Local Produce Market in the Carfax as well as Horsham’s very own Mixed Market hosted in Piries Place.
