Festival to fly the flag for fairtrade and freedom
Burgess Hill Fairtrade and Freedom Festival might be starting small, buts its ambitions are huge.
"It's our inaugural festival," explained Robert Eggleston, chairman of the Burgess Hill Town Fairtrade Steering Group.
"But if you look at things like the Haye on Wye Book Festival, once upon a time it must have started with just a small group of people, never quite believing that it would one day get the international exposure that it now gets."
