Celebrity Traitors: Crawley's Romesh Ranganathan tipped to be next murder victim after warning over his future
Crawley comedian Romesh Ranganathan has been tipped to become the next murder victim on The Celebrity Traitors.
The latest predictions, published by ActionNetwork.com, put Ranganathan at 4/7 to be the third contestant murdered, ahead of his friend and fellow comedian Rob Beckett at 7/3.
It follows a tense cliffhanger involving a murderous game of hide-and-seek, with Ranganathan, Beckett, Ross Kemp and Leigh-Anne Pinnock facing danger. Pinnock was handed a protective key, meaning she will survive if the Traitors choose her.
In our most recent Celebrity Traitors opinion piece, we questioned whether Ranganathan’s influence among the faithfuls could make him a target.

James Acaster had identified him as a threat at the roundtable, while Hannah Fry described him as ‘calm and people follow him’.
ActionNetwork.com’s latest assessment points to the same danger for the former Hazelwick School teacher.
A spokesperson said: “Romesh Ranganathan is the favourite to become the next victim of the Traitors at odds of 4/7, with the traitors perceiving him as one of the leading faithful voices around the round table, making him a smart one to remove.
“Rob Beckett follows at odds of 7/3 to get murdered, seen as a random choice that could send the faithful spiralling.”

The company considers Kemp a less likely murder victim because suspicion surrounding him could benefit the traitors if it continues to grow.
Ranganathan made his frustration clear during the discussion about who should receive protection.
“You’ve got to respect the democracy but I’m not happy,” he said.
He also admitted: “Am I completely certain we’ve picked the right person? Absolutely not.”
Fellow Sussex man Joe Marler backed Ranganathan’s position during an appearance on companion programme Uncloaked.
The faithfuls have struggled to build on their early success in banishing Richard E. Grant, whose extraordinary admission that he was a traitor immediately attracted attention.
They subsequently banished two innocent contestants, Bella Ramsey and Julie, while Amol Rajan had earlier become the first murder victim.
Attention is also turning to who could face the next banishment, with ActionNetwork.com putting Fry as its favourite at 3/7.
Blunt follows at 3/1, ahead of Jerry Hall at 17/3.
The spokesperson said: “James Blunt follows at odds of 3/1 to get banished, having led the latest charge against Julie, a move that backfired and will likely count against him.”
Michael Sheen remains the company’s favourite to win, with his odds shortening to 9/4. James Acaster is second at 4/1, followed by Maya Jama at 13/2.
For Crawley viewers, however, the immediate question is whether Ranganathan will survive long enough to continue helping the faithfuls find the remaining traitors.
The Celebrity Traitors continues – on BBC One and BBC iPlayer – at 9pm on Thursday (October 15).
