DLWP to show NT Live from Donmar
National Theatre Live will shortly broadcast the highly anticipated new production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses to cinemas across Britain including the De La Warr Pavilion.
Following the successful Coriolanus and King Lear, this next event comes live from the Donmar Warehouse on Thursday January 28 at 7pm, directed by Josie Rourke (Coriolanus), and starring Elaine Cassidy (The Paradise), Janet McTeer (The White Queen) and Dominic West (The Wire).
Former lovers, the Marquise de Merteuil and Vicomte de Valmont compete in games of seduction and revenge. Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the innocent Cecile de Volanges but Valmont has targeted the peerlessly virtuous and beautiful Madame de Tourvel. While these merciless aristocrats toy with hearts and repurtations, their own may prove fragile. Tickets £14, £12 members and concs.
