FILM: Huge (15)

Actor and comedian Ben Miller, one half of the double-act Armstrong and Miller, tries his hand behind the camera with this light-hearted directorial debut set in the cut-throat world of stand-up comedy.

Funny men Warren (Johnny Harris) and Clark (Noel Clarke) are a double-act, constantly at loggerheads about the direction of their act and how to make an impact. Warren betrays Clark by stealing their material to go solo and all of their hard graft in working men’s clubs is thrown into jeopardy. Somehow, Warren and Clark must find a way to trust each other again if they are ever to achieve the fame and fortune they crave. The film features cameos from some of the country’s brightest comic talents including Stephen K Amos, Ronnie Ancona, David Baddiel, Kevin Bishop, Jo Brand, Alan Davies, Jack Dee, Harry Hill, Eddie Izzard and Frank Skinner.
