Film stars meet Horsham (Aus) townsfolk

Horsham, in Victoria, has been the location as filming continues on the movie The Dressmaker, due out next year.

Horsham townsfolk have been posting photos of actors Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games), Hugo Weaving (The Hobbit, The Matrix) and others on social media during breaks in the film’s schedule.

However, there’s been no sign of Kate Winslet (the main lead) as yet, according to reports.

The Dressmaker, based on the book by Rosalie Ham, is a bittersweet comedy, set in the 1950s about an attractive woman returning to her town in rural Australia.

Armed with a sewing machine and haute couture style, she transforms the women and exacts sweet revenge on those who did her wrong.
