Fun for all the family at Goodwood event

With lots of entertainment on offer, from a funfair and fully functioning beach to live music and a maze, the fun-filled race weekend is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the last of the British summer amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs countryside.
The three-day festival and the Chichester course commences with an evening meeting on Friday August 22 as the venue transforms into a typical 1950’s holiday scene boasting six thrilling races, a beach, a funfair, vintage eateries and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

Saturday and Sunday follow suit with entertainment for the whole family including the funfair; complete with a Helter Skelter, Big Wheel, Gallopers and Chair-O-Planes, face painting, a windbreak maze and live music throughout the weekend. The racecourse encourages all those attending to dress in 50’s fashion so men, dust down those brogues and ladies prepare your favourite swing skirt as Goodwood Racecourse opens its gates to what will be an unforgettable August Bank Holiday.
Tickets start at just £10 with accompanied children under 18 going free. There is a free return shuttle bus that runs from Chichester Railway Station to the racecourse each day.
