Skateboarders, BMXers and trick scooterists are all being called upon to enter the Haywards Heath Skatejam 2013 to be held on 14 September.

The competition is open to ages 11-plus, and there will be separate age categories for BMX, Scooter and Skateboard.

Prizes will be awarded by Ballyhoo to first and second in each age group and category. Competitors will have a set free time to impress the judges.

Entry is free. Please enter in advance as entries will only be accepted on the day if there is space. Entry forms may be obtained from Ballyhoo, Sydney Road, Haywards Heath. Persons aged under 18 will require a parent’s signature on the entry form.

All competitors will be required to wear a helmet. There will be limited spectator space at the site to watch the fun. Music will be provided by DJ Konche.

The Skatejam is a partnership activity run by Ballyhoo, Haywards Heath Youth CIC and Haywards Heath Town Council. It is being held on 14 September, as part of Town Day at Victoria Park Skate Park.
