SLIDESHOW: Sussex County Bowls Club take on London Scottish

Buxted Park Bowls Club hosted a County Match on 3rd June 2014 between Sussex County Bowls Club and London Scottish Bowls Club.

Despite early morning rain the game went ahead and the green played well and all enjoyed the match which was followed by a meal prepared by the Buxted Park ladies.

The result of the match was a convincing win by Sussex County Bowls of 139 shots to London Scottish’s 87 shots.

Michelle Gray from Wealden District Council came to see the venue as the Council have given the club a grant of £5000 towards the cost of re-edging the green. This work was completed in the autumn and has much improved the green.
