The Royal British Legion Women's Section, Bexhill
THE December meeting was opened on a very cold and windy day. It was lovely to see Betty at the meeting as she has been under the weather of late.
As it was not a good day weather-wise, the meeting was well attended and the business part was dealt with, then all was cleared away for the Christmas party.
Every member brought a plate of food, and what a lovely spread we had, sandwiches, cake, mince pies, etc. All members were given a Christmas present at the end of the meeting and a good time was had by all. Do not forget ladies the first meeting for 2009 is February 3.
