The Sussex Peasant Spring markets return

Celebrate the season of renewal as The Sussex Peasant’s Spring Producer Markets return across Sussex this April and May. Discover farm-fresh vegetables, pasture-raised meats, artisan breads, cheeses and preserves from local farmers and food producers. Meet the people behind the produce, enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere and stock up on the best seasonal food Sussex has to offer.
The Sussex Peasant Seasonal Markets bring together some of the county’s most respected food artisans and farmers across a series of local events, offering the community the chance to meet the people behind their food.
From locally reared lamb from Jacobs Ladder, bakery goods from Flint Owl Bakery, to artisan cheeses such as Sussex Charmer, seasonal greens, and small-batch chutneys and pickles, customers can sample and purchase a wide range of seasonal, health-conscious produce made right here in Sussex.
