Chris offers one wild evening
Chris Packham goes wild in Haywards Heath on Wednesday, November 6 when he brings his informative look at some of nature’s most popular species to Clair Hall.
He is best known for his television appearances, notably in the BAFTA-winning BBC1 children’s programme The Really Wild Show and BBC’s Springwatch,
As a young boy, he recalls smuggling wildlife into his bedroom including slow worms, frogs and even a fox cub, much to the dismay of his parents who did not initially share his enthusiasm but “were very tolerant of that interest”.
Graduating from Southampton University, where he received a BSc in zoology, Chris (brother of fashion designer Jenny Packham) cancelled his study towards a PhD to train as a wildlife cameraman.
