Values

What can we teach the childen, how can they know

who to trust, where are the values we used to have?

honesty, truth and gentleness, their loss is down

to us.

Can we begin to teach a new and better way, to respect

another's creed, that violence wins us nothing, we

must show them other people's needs.

What can we teach the childen so that they pay heed

and hear, to be still sometimes amid the haste, not

to give a yes to everything, that kindness is never

a waste.

We have to teach the children and point the way to go,

with everything in our pwoer, for the years ahead are

theirs, if they fail to learn these lessons, then

their failure could be ours.
