VIDEO: Hallowe’en cookies to help charity

It’s the scariest night of the year enjoyed and feared by young and old alike, but this year World Vision, the world’s largest international children’s charity, has teamed up with TV chef Lesley Waters to turn the traditional night of fear into a night of hope and raise awareness of those less fortunate around the world.

Celebrity TV chef Lesley Waters is leading World Vision’s campaign and is encouraging families to create a lantern of hope for vulnerable children this Hallowe’en, by carving a heart in their pumpkin, instead of a scary face.

Watch our video where Lesley shares her recipe for delicious, moist, spicy Halloween heart-shaped cookies - why not give them a go this October 31st?

Rather than handing out shop-bought sweets, Lesley’s Spicy Halloween Heart Cookies offer a traditional, tasty gift for trick-or-treaters.
