VIDEO: Steam train at Horsham


There were memories for the older generations and excitement for the younger ones as a steam train pulled out of Horsham station this morning (Saturday July 5).
This was one of the several Cathedrals Express excursions, two of which start from Horsham this year.
The Britannia Class steam locomotive, 70013 Oliver Cromwell set off from Horsham at 8.30am.

Hide AdIt was due to pick up passengers in Ockley, Holmwood, Dorking, Leatherhead and Cheam before heading into the Kent countryside to Canterbury.
The only other trip from Horsham will be on Tuesday December 9 which will head up to Ely Cathedral.
