After 11 years working internationally and also owning a shop in Billingshurst High Street, Azra Hall’s love of the countryside has seen the 35-year-old open her self-titled business from her Worthing Road cottage.

“I decided it was better for my clients and better for me, and more of a bespoke treatment and experience, to work from home,” explained Azra. “I haven’t looked back and I just want to let people know I’m still here.”

Azra, who specialises in waxing and facials, uses products from SkinCeuticals and Medik8 for her treatments which she describes as ‘London treatments with countryside prices’.

With an NVQ in beauty from Northbrook college in Worthing, Azra has notched up a 17-year career also working in London, Midhurst, Hong Kong, touring the world as a resident therapist for a number of professional dancers now seen on Strictly Come Dancing and in the Cayman Islands where she ran her own spa for seven-and-a-half years.

“It was fantastic, absolutely fantastic and my business grew,” she added. “I became known as the ‘waxing queen of the Caribbean’ with clients flying out from overseas.”

Azra has subsequently gathered celebrity clients including Orlando Bloom, Westlife, The Corrs, and Jodie Kidd.

Now happily settled in Southwater with her Cavalier King Charles puppy Jazz, Azra feels she can offer a more personal experience for clients.

“The other thing is I’ve got chickens and I grow my own vegetables so a lot of clients can come and have a cup of tea, see Jazz and leave with a bag of potatoes, eggs, kale or tomatoes. I’m all about organic and natural environments.”
