FAIR: The Annual Charities Christmas Fair takes place at The Henfield Hall between 10am and 1pm. Entry costs 30p. This year a total of 37 national and local charities will be taking part. There will be a very wide selection of goods on sale as well as raffles, tombola, cakes and preserves, not forgetting the usual excellent refreshments. RELIGION: Faithfully Bridging Extremist Views: 7.30pm. Penfold Hall, Church Street, Steyning. Dr Zaza Johnson Elsheikh. This talk will be sharing mediation between Islamic sects in an attempt to accommodate views considered to be extremely liberal (Sunni) versus extremely strict (Hanafi) as mutual resentments grow and the communities become more polarised.
