Cats Protection: Flag Day: Horsham & District Branch have been given permission to hold a collection outside Tesco Stores, Broadbridge Heath with all donations going directly to help the cats in our care. We are also happy to accept cat food or litter, so why not pop an extra one in your shopping for us.

Plant sale: Garden open from 11am to 3pm in aid of Epilepsy Society. Held at Penn Cottage, Chesworth Close, Horsham RH13 5AL. Sale of shrubs, perennials and bedding plants refreshmenst available, raffle. Free entry to the garden.

TALK: West Sussex Rail Users have invited David Scorey, Performance Director of Southern Railway to speak about recent performance and Southern’s plans for the Arun Valley and West Coastway lines at 10am – 12 noon at the WSRUA AGM at the Horsham Arts Centre (the Studio). Rail users will have an opportunity to tell David what they think about Southern’s performance and what they would like to see happen to rail services in the area.

CUCKFIELD Open Gardens. Spend the afternoon going around Cuckfield village and outskirts on the NSPCC open gardens.The gardens will be open 2-6pm with many different gardens to view.All make for an enjoyable event with homemade afternoon teas in some gardens plus plant sale.The combined admission is £5 accompanied children free.Admittance is by programme on sale in advance from Wealden Stores or any of the participating gardens on the day which will be well signed.
