Spread across four floors of a Georgian townhouse in North Street, Fernleigh brings together independent boutiques, a restaurant and bar, art workshops, beauty rooms and even reformer Pilates in one beautiful venue.
Its offerings also include Little Cowdray, where customers can purchase goods from the Cowdray Estate, and private spaces for meetings and celebrations.
Southgate’s Rocking Horse is an intimate cocktail and wine bar. It serves experimental, quirky drinks, ranging from classics like Cosmopolitans to film and television-themed cocktails such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Pirate of the Caribbean’.
Mish and Kailla, representing Rocking Horse, said: “Winning this award means everything. We are working extremely hard. But everyone in the building – they work equally as hard. Being recognised within your area is perfection, but we want to give a big shout out to the other businesses as well.”
