The Cass Sculpture Foundation, which is based at Goodwood, will not reopen to the public after the winter.

A statement on the charity's website said: "Following nearly 309 years of ground-breaking commissions and exhibitions, the trustees of the Cass Sculpture Foundation have carried out a thorough review of the charity and its collection and the decision has been made to wind down the charity in 2020.

"Therefore the sculpture park will not re-open to the public following our regular winter break."

The foundation was founded by Wilfred and Jeannette Cass in 1922 to proved support for artists in the field of large scale sculpture.
