The 17th century building has been closed throughout the coronavirus pandemic and has also been up for sale for some time.

In a statement on behalf of the owners, a spokesperson at Kember Loudon Williams said, “The permission in principle was approved for one or two residential dwellings. The applicant has decided to apply for a single dwelling.

“The proposed conversion to a single dwelling will provide a large, family home with a good level of internal and external amenity space including a generously sized rear garden.”

A decision will be made by officers in the coming weeks.
