To celebrate English Wine Week Ridgeview, Ditchling, is inviting customers to enjoy a glass at home while watching ‘A glimpse behind the scenes at Ridgeview'.

English Wine Week began over 25 years ago, as a time to focus on the small but growing English Wine industry.

A quarter of a century later the industry has expanded massively producing more than 14 million bottles in 2018 with mountains of global accolades, including Ridgeview being named ‘International Winemaker of the Year’ in the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018.

Due to the current restrictions, the English Wine Week dates were changed from the usual end of May until June 20-28.

The digital film shares insight from Ridgeview’s CEO, vineyard manager and head winemaker into the craft of making Ridgeview traditional method English sparkling wine, from vine to glass.

Throughout English Wine Week, Ridgeview will also be collaborating with various partners on virtual tastings and events including the Wine & Spirit Educational Trust, the Wine Society

and a live virtual tour and tasting hosted over Zoom, by Ridgeview’s CEO for the Brighton Chamber of Commerce Members. The International Wine & Spirit Competition, of which

CEO Tamara is President will also be hosting a competition to win a case of the Ridgeview collection of sparkling wines.

As well as the virtual tastings and the digital film, Ridgeview will be continuing to offer free next week-day delivery, along with donating £2 for every bottle purchased to the charity

From the June 18 its onsite shop has been open for sales and collections from 11am – 4pm Monday to Thursday.
